Srinagar, July 07: Two persons were injured in a road mishap at Srinagar- Bandipora road at Naninara area of Sumbal on Wednesday.

A Police Official said that an Alto car bearing registration number JK01AF-5478 collided with three wheeler Auto bearing -JK01H-1129 in Naninara Sumbal resulting in the injuries of two persons.

He said that soon after the incident the duo identified as Mehraj-ud-din (65) a resident of Srinagar and Mohammed Maqbool of Naninara were taken to CHC Sumbal for treatment. However one Mohammed Maqbool was shifted to Srinagar hospital in critical conditions, he added.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and have seized both the vehicles for further investigation in this regard. kdc
