BUDGAM: Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Budgam Police arrested one more notorious drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession.

During naka checking at Mazhama Bridge, Police party of Police Station Magam intercepted one person in suspicious circumstances. During his personal search 250 Grams of Bang Pathri was recovered from his possession.

The arrested person has been identified as Adil Ahmed Pandith son of Farooq Ahmed Pandith resident of Mazhama Magam.

Case FIR number 94/2021 under relevant sections of NDPS Act stands registered at Police station Magam and investigation taken up.
