Locals kill leopard after it injured eight persons in Kulgam

Kulgam, May 21 : At least eight people were injured after a leopard attacked them in Damhal Hanjipora belt of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Friday afternoon. The leopard was later killed by the mob.

Officials told the news agency that among eight injured persons three were shifted to SKIMS Soura.

They said that a leopard attacked people at several places of D H Pora belt of Kulgam and injured eight persons and the leopard was later killed by locals.

“All the eight injured persons were shifted to district hospital Kulgam for treatment,” they said.

Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Dr. Muzafar Zargar said that hospital received 8 injured people among them three were shifted to SKIMS Soura for further treatment.
