Srinagar, May 8: Dr Beauty Banday has been appointed as new Head of the Department (HoD) Law at University of Kashmir.

An order to this effect, a copy of which is in possession of Srinagar-based news agency Global News Service, states that “Consequent upon her promotion as Professor, Dr. Beauty Banday shall function as Head, Department of Law for a period of (03) three years or till she attains the age of superannuation whichever is earlier, reliving Prof. Mohammad Ayub Dar of the charge of headship.”

The order has been put to immediate effect on its issuance. gns
