Srinagar, May 3: A two-storey residential house was damaged substantially in a massive fire incident here in Shivpora area on Monday evening. 

Reports said that the fire broke out of the residential house, situated near Shivpora Water Tank, at around 10 PM this evening. The raging flames within no time spread and engulfed a major part of the structure, razing it to ashes.

An Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES) official confirming the incident that the fire has caused major damage to the house. “We have sent five to six fire tenders to the site and it has been primarily known that thefire has stopped though the house getting substantially damaged in the incident”, he said.

“The team is still at the spot and once the details once known, will be shared accordingly”, the official added.
