Srinagar, Mar 6: The Supreme Court collegium has cleared the name of senior advocate Rahul Bharti for appointment as High Court Judge. Her name was recommended by the High Court two years ago.

Officials said that the Supreme Court Collegium in its meeting March 2 approved the proposal for elevation of the Advocate Bharti. In March 2019, the J&K High Court had recommended Rahul Bharti for the appointment as Judge. Advocate Rahul Bharti joined Bar in February 1991.
