Budgam, Feb 21: Govt. forces launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Bhat mohalla Shamusabad KhanSahab Village in Center Kashmir’s district Budgam on Sunday afternoon.
Reports said a joint team of army’s 53RR, SOG and police cordoned off khanshaab Village of Bhat Mohalla Shamusabad and conducted house to house searches there.
Reports said that all entry and exit points towards the area were sealed off by the security forces.
A police officer told KDC search operation was launched following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Searches were going on in the area when last reports came in. kdc
