2 BSF Men Under Quarantine Go Missing In Rajouri, Had Returned From Leave Recently

Jammu, Feb 5: Two Border Security Force (BSF) personnel have gone missing from a camp in Rajouri district late last evening, officials said here on Friday.

They said that a missing report has been filed with police station Sunderbani.

A police official said hat the Commandant of 69 battalion BSF at 0030 hours reported in Police Station Sunderbani that two “General Duty” Constables namely Ishi Sahib Rao Dilip and Sooraj Pal have been missing from BSF Camp Sunderbani since 1800 hours Thursday (February 4).

“In this regard, a missing has been filed,” he said. Till the filing of this report, there was no trace of the duo.

Sources told GNS that the duo had recently returned from home following the expiry of the leave and were under institutional quarantine, a mandatory protocol for covid-19 pandemic. (GNS)
