Srinagar, August 22: The Border Security Force (BSF) on Saturday said that it killed five intruders on international border (IB) with Pakistan.
“Alert troops of 103 Bn #BSF noticed suspicious movement of intruders violating IB. Upon being challenged to stop, intruders fired upon #BSF troops who retaliated in self defence. Resultantly, 05 intruders were shot. Intensive search ops is underway,’ the BSF tweeted.
Later the BSF said arms, ammunition and drugs were recovered from the possession of the slain intruders.

During search following weapon and contrabands recovered from the spot-
– 01 AK 47 rifle with 02 magzines and 27 live rds,
– 04 pistols (9 mm beretta) with 07 magazines and 109 live rds,
– 09 pkts (appx 9.920 kg) of #heroin.
