Supreme Court dismisses plea seeking postponement of NEET, JEE exams

Srinagar, August 17: The Supreme Court Monday dismissed a petition which sought National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) and Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) to be postponed.

According to the reports the court observed that the career of students cannot be put under jeopardy for long and as such dismissed the plea.

The reports stated that that JEE exam will be held from September 1 to September 6 while the medical entrance is slated for September 13.

The Bench of Justices Arun Mishra, B.R. Gavai and Krishna Murari were hearing a petition seeking postponement of the NEET and JEE filed by 11 aspirants from across various States.
