India-Pakistan armies exchange firing on LOC in Uri

Srinagar, August 16: Indo-Pak armies on Sunday morning exchanged  gunfire across the Line of Control in Uri Sector of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Reports said shelling is going on in Kamalkote Uri sector.

As per the official, a cow hit by a shell died in of Kamalkote during the exchange of fire.

SSP Baramulla said shelling from both sides, however no further loss of life or injury was reported so far.(KNS)
