Shopian, July 18: One more militant has been killed in an encounter in Amshipora village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Saturday morning, taking the number of militants killed in the gunfight to four. 

An official said that four militants have been killed so far.

The encounter broke out after a joint team of Police, Army’s 62 RR and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of militants in the area.

“The search operation is still in progress,”he said.
