Srinagar, Jun 17: An army soldier suffered injuries in a landmine blast in Akhnoor sector of Jammu division on Wednesday.

A police official identified the injured as Gulalmon of 9 Assam Regiment. The official told GNS that soldier has suffered injuries in his right leg after stepping over a landmine in Khour belt of Chhani Dewano forward area of Akhnoor sector along Line of Control.

The injured has been airlifted to Command hospital Udhampur where his condition is stated to be stable, the official added. (GNS)
