Budgam, June 11: A 35-year-old woman who was undergoing treatment after suffering injuries in a road mishap, Thursday succumbed to her injuries at SMHS Srinagar.

The woman had sustained severe injuries in a road accident on June 08 at National highway near Pampore.

Officials said that a 35-year-old woman identified as Dilshada, wife of Naseer Ahmad Raina of Hisipora Chadoora of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district has succumbed to her injuries.

“On this morning, she succumbed to her injuries at SMHS and her samples were collected for COVID-19 test June 09, the report of which is still awaited,” they said.

The body was not handed over to the family, officials said, adding that the body will be handed over to them only after the test report is received—(KNO)
