Srinagar May 18: A massive Cordon and search operation has been launched by government forces in many areas of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday.

Reports said that a joint team of Police, army’s 55, 53 RR and 182BN, 183BN of CRPF launched cordon search operation in Rahmoo, Goosu, Murran, Ashmandar and other adjacent areas.

As per the official sources search operation was started around 2:00 am in these areas by the joint forces after receiving specific information about presence of militants.

Till this report was being filed door to door searches were underway in these areas.(GNS)
