Srinagar, May 02: A gunfight broke out between the militants and the security forces in Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Saturday, police said.

“Encounter has started at #Chanjmullah area of #Handwara. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow,” said a police spokesman on Twitter.

In another encounter that was underway in Pulwama district since today morning two militants were killed.
