Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir police on Monday claimed to have arrested two persons in central Kashmir’s Budgam district and recovered incriminating material from their possession.
Officials told a news agency that police along with 2 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) arrested two persons during Naka checking in Beerwah area.
Senior police officer said that based on “credible” inputs two persona identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Rashid Dar of Wadwan and Farooq Ahmad Malla son of Ghulam Muhammad Malla of Hardu Mallpora Beerwah were intercepted during a naka checking at Malpura Beerwah.
The officer further added that during the checking indiscriminating material have also been recovered from their possession.
He added that a case under FIR number 92/2020 under relevant provisions of law has been registered in Police Station Beerwah and further investigation has been started. (KNO)
