Jammu, Apr 14: Senior officers of both Army and police including Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) are involved in combing operation in Kishtwar area of Jammu region where a policeman axed to death, and other was left injured, sources said.

“Entire area of Tender in Dachan is under Cordon since Monday evening,” they said.

Talking to media persons, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) DKR range, Abdul Jabbar said that joint operation of Army and police is going on in the area.

He, however,  didn’t divulge any further details. Meanwhile, a wreath laying ceremony was held at District Police Lines Kishtwar on Tuesday morning.
