Restore statehood, conduct elections: Omar Abdullah

Srinagar: While reacting to the mild amendments in domicile law pertaining to job reservations, National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah has demanded that it is high time that people of Kashmir Kashmir should form laws that will govern them.

“It’s high time the people of J&K get to decide the laws that will govern them rather than being subjected to the whims & fancies of the centre where orders are issued in the morning & changes to the same order issued in the evening,” Abdullah tweeted

“Restore statehood, conduct elections. #Democracy”

NC has said that recent amendment to domicile law was cosmetic, adding, New Delhi  must stop toying around with JK and its people
