Militant hideout busted in Bandipora forests, arms and ammunition recovered

Bandipora: Government forces Thursday morning claimed to have busted a militant hideout in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

Sources said that on a credible input, government forces including army’s 13 JAKLI, Jammu and Kashmir police and other forces busted a militant hideout in lashkoot forest area of Chandeji in Bandipora.

They said arms and ammunition including 700 rounds of AK47 were recovered from the busted hideout.

Meanwhile, a senoir police officer said that police has registered a case under relevant sections of law and further investigations initiated in this regard.
