Home Minister of India Amit Shah is scheduled to hold a meeting on Jammu and Kashmir, today on Tuesday in New Delhi.

Reports said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also expected to attend the meeting.

Besides, they said that BJP Working President, JP Nadda, BJP General Secretary (Organizations) BL Santosh, J&K BJP President Ravinder Rana and former J&K Deputy  CM Kavinder Gupta are scheduled to attend the meeting.

The meeting comes in the backdrop of rumours in the Kashmir valley about the abrogation of Article 35-A that grants special rights to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Leaked government orders and “as per sources” media reports have added to the anxiety of the people.
