Driver critically injured as school picnic bus turns turtle in north Kashmir’s Sopore

Srinagar: A picnic bus carrying students met with an accident in Watlab area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.

Reports said that a bus bearing registration number JK01J/9633 met with an accident after the driver lost control at Sangri Top Watlab this afternoon.

They said that the school bus was coming from Budgam to Baba Shukurudin shrine after the students were dropped at Shrine the bus driver lost control and fell into deep gorge.

The injured driver has been identified as Shabir Ahmad a resident of Budgam. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment where from he has been shifted to SKIMS Srinagar. However all the students in the bus are safe, they said. (KNO)
