Srinagar: Government forces Friday morning launched a cordon and search operation in Harwan village of Tujjar Shareef in north Kashmir’s Sopore.

Reports said that a joint team of army’s 22 RR, Special Operations Group (SOG) of Police and CRPF launched the operation following specific inputs about the presence of militants.

They said that a heavy contingent of forces have been deployed in the area and door to door search operation is on.
