Jammu man appointed as interim chairman of the JK Bank

Srinagar: Government has removed Jammu Kashmir Bank Chairman Parvez Ahmad Nengroo from his post and appointed a Jammu man, RK Chibber as an interim chairman of the bank.

“The Jammu and Kashmir government has taken the following decision in exercise of the powers under article 69 (III) of Articles of Association of the JK bank limited,” the order issued by the additional secretary to the government finance department, reads.

“Mr Parvez Ahmad, Chairman cum Managing director shall cease to be director on the board of Directors of the bank and consequently be no longer chairman cum managing director of the board”

“Mr RK Chibber, is hereby nominated as the director on the board and maybe further appointed as the interim chairman cum managing director of the board,” order adds.
