Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference on Tuesday condemned the attack on party worker Sajad Ahmad Ganaie of Chitragam Shopian, saying that such dastardly attacks cannot deter the party from serving people.

In a statement, provincial spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar while decrying the attack said, “I pray for the speedy recovery of Sajad. National Conference unequivocally condemns the attack and also salute the zeal with which our workers are serving people in the most trying times. I pray for his fast recuperation and good health.  I am hopeful that Sajad will rise again to take forward the mission of serving people.”

“It is regrettable to see unarmed people being attacked at. I condemn the attack in the strongest terms and pray for the fast recovery of the injured. I also urge the incumbent governor administration to ensure safe environment for the political workers to carry forward their activities. The perpetrators behind the attack should be brought to book,” he added.
