J&K bags 4 gold, 6 silver medals in Koshiki Federation cup

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir has bagged 12 medals, including four gold and six silver, in Koshiki Martial Arts Federation cup held in Haryana.    

The Koshiki Federation Cup in which different states of the country participated, was held at Gaira Smiti Hall, Faridabad in Haryana last week.

 

The players who have won gold medals in the Federation cup, included Akhmal Halim Khan, Sajid Ali Khan, Syed Mursal, Mohammad Hussain while the silver medals were bagged by Shahid Nazir, Mohammad Hanan, Ubaid Bilal, Asif Hussain, Mohammad Shoaib and Numair Shabir.

Meanwhile, Mehran Ashraf and Faisal Showkat secured bronze medals.

“The National Federation Cup of Koshiki was held at Haryana from May 1. The competition was very tough, but our players performed extraordinarily in the event and bagged 12 medals, including four gold, six silver and two bronze medals,” incharge of the J&K Koshiki team, Parvaiz Hussain Khan, said.
