Jammu: Chief Engineer, Elect. Maintt. & R.E. Wing, Jammu informed that to carry out maintenance works of 33 KV Akhnoor-Tanda on urgent basis, the power supply to Tanda, Chowki Choura, Kathar, Daskal, Balli Gulaba, Maira Mandrian and adjoining areas will remain affected on May 9 from 6 am to 12 noon.

Similarly, to execute work of branch cutting of 33 KV Janipur-Manda-New Secretariat line, the power supply to Dogra Hall, Rehari, Ustad Mohalla, Resham Ghar Colony, Bus Stand, Jewel, Hari Market, Raghunath Bazaar, Kaleeth Mohalla, Kaleeth Market, part of Kanak Mandi, Manda, New Plot, Sarwal  Part  Karan Nagar  and adjoining areas will remain affected on May 9 from 8 am to 1 pm.

Likewise, to carry out work of branch cutting and repair / maintenance, the shutdown of 33 KV Subash Nagar line (Tower Line) is being observed.

During the shutdown, the power supply to Patoli, Shiv Nagar, Subash Nagar, Govt. Quarter, Sarwal, Shanti Nagar, Paloura and adjoining areas will remain affected on May 9 from 8 am to 1 pm.

Similarly, to carry out branch cutting and repair / maintenance of the 33 KV line, the shutdown of 33 KV Barn- Bhalwal-Thathar-Bantalab line is being observed.

During the shutdown, the power supply to Kot Bhalwal, Nadani, Sheripandita, Nandni, KanganMorh, Kerin, Raipur, MES, Radio Station, Army Camp, Thathar, CRPF, PHE, Local Batal, Telephone Exchange, Aux. Hospital, Bantalab and adjoining areas will remain affected on May 9 from 8 am to 1 pm.
