BJP holds protest in Srinagar demanding security for all political workers

Srinagar: State General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party Ashok Koul on Tuesday left from Press Enclave Srinagar without government-provided security personnel as a mark of protest.

According to KNO correspondent Koul left the city center in an auto rickshaw.

Koul before leaving the place said that he is surrendering his security as a mark of protest.

He was protesting against the killing of BJP worker in South Kashmir and demanded that their workers be provided with adequate security.

“Koul left his PSO’s in the press enclave and left in an auto saying if their workers can’t have security cover, he too will not ask for it,” reports claimed.
