PHC Litter lacks basic facilities, residents aghast

Pulwama: A primary health center in Litter village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district lacks basic facilities, due to which residents face many inconveniences.

Locals of Nowpora Payeen in Litter village have said that their sub-health center was established decades before and was upgraded two years back to New type primary health center with no improvement in the system.

The residents added that they were expecting good facilities in the center after up-gradation of the health centre but authorities failed to mitigate their issues by implementing machinery, medicine and staff.

“Many areas here depends on this health centre but no concrete step is being taken to provide facilities there,” residents said.

The residents rued that authorities have upgraded it to NTPHC but but it has failed to provide medicines, staff and machineries here for public conveniences.

The locals demanded that facilities should be made available there to mitigate the problems faced by the people.
