Bandipora: In a shocking incident, a girl  committed suicide after allegedly raped by her father in Chatar area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora District.

Sources said that police after receiving compliant has taken the dead body to hospital for conducting post-mortem and the accused father has been arrested by Chatar Police Station.

Superintendent of Police Bandipora Rahul Malik said that police has received the complaint from the family members.

“We have registered the case. The accused father has been arrested,” Malik said.

The police said they have registered FIR No FIR 04/2019 U/S 506,376,306 at Police Station Argaam against the accused and investigation has been started in the Matter. (CNS)
