Srinagar: Peoples Conference (PC) candidate, Irfan Raza Ansari on Tuesday filed nomination papers for the upcoming parliamentary polls from Srinagar-Budgam constituency.

Ansari was accompanied by party chairman and former minister in the Sajad Gani Lone, PC General Secretary Imran Ansari, PC senior leader Abid Ansari, Junaid Azim Matoo and other leaders today in front of District Election Officer (DEO) Srinagar, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary. 

Earlier, NC president Dr. Farooq Abdullah and BJP candidate, Khalid Jahangir filed their nomination papers for the Srinagar constituency on Monday. 

JKPC has been part of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Jammu and Kashmir.
