Heavy cross-LoC shelling rattles Rajouri’s Nowshera sector

Srinagar: The armies of India and Pakistan Thursday afternoon exchanged gunfire along the Line of Control in Nowshera sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district.

News gathering agency ANI tweeted: “Pakistan violated ceasefire at around 2:45 pm in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district. Indian Army is retaliating.”

Earlier in the day, a rifleman was killed when the two armies exchanged gunfire along LoC in Rajouri district. He was identified as Yash Paul, 24.
