Kashmir highway restored for one-way traffic

Srinagar: The Kashmir highway was on Monday restored for one-way traffic after remaining closed for the night.

The highway was closed for traffic on Sunday night due to a landslide at Panthal in the Ramban-Ramsoo sector.

According to an official, one-way traffic will be restored later in the day as the landslide debris have been cleared.

The highway opened on Sunday afternoon to clear stranded traffic and decongest the road before the landslide occurred at Panthal.

Another landslide at the same place had shut the highway on Friday.
