Kulgam: Government forces on Tuesday afternoon launched cordon and search operation (CASO) in Matalhama village in Qaimoh belt of South Kashmir’s district Kulgam.

Officials sources said that Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army, and Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police launched searches after receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

“The heavy concentration of the forces was witnessed in the area and all the routes leading to area have been sealed, and house to house search operation is going on,” sources said.(KNO)
