Srinagar: Vice President Jamiat-e-Ahliehadith, Moulana Mushtaq Ahmad Veeri has been arrested by the police.

The religious preacher hails from Veeri village of Bhijebehara.

Since Friday, the authorities have conducted massive crack down against the pro-freedom and religious leaders. The police have so far arrested 150 Jamaat-I-Islami leaders and activists from various parts of valley.
