Eight CRPF personnel injured in Lethpora militant attack

Srinagar: Eight CRPF personnel have suffered injured in a militant attack in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Reports said that Militants Thursday afternoon attacked a CRPF vehicle at Lethpora area of Awantipora on Srinagar-Jammu highway. “The militants detonated an IED planted on the highway at Goripora in Lethpora area which was followed by intense firing.”

The attack left eight CRPF personnel injured, new gathering agency ANI reported.

They said that the forces have been rushed to the area.
