Srinagar: Intense clashes erupted Wednesday in Kakapora in Pulwama district following a mysterious blast inside a school that left over a dozen students injured.

Reports said that as the police arrived at the spot of the blast, in Narbal village youths pelted them with stones.

They said that the police resorted to tear gas shelling to disperse the protesters.

The clashes were going on when this report was being filed.
