Srinagar: The Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Thursday issued a strict warning to the “on-strike” NHM employees asking them to join back their duties with immediate effect or face action.

The DC Shahid Iqbal Choudhary tweeted: “NHM staff should immediately report to duties. Action being taken. Govt is working on demands of contractual NHM staff. No point in making patients suffer endlessly.”

NHM employees are on strike for the past several days demanding regularization of their services.
