Srinagar: A massive snow avalanche has hit Srinagar-Jammu highway near Jawahar Tunnel Tuesday morning.

Reports said that the avalanche has blocked both the tubes of the tunnel from Qazigund side and the rescue teams have been rushed to the spot.

Meanwhile authorities have suspended traffic on the Srinagar-Jammu highway till the tunnel tubes of cleared of snow.
