Anantnag: Jammu and Kashmir police on Saturday claimed to have arrested a man for allegedly harassing a girl in this south Kashmir district, a police spokesman said.

Police requested the girl to approach women’s police station Anantnag following a social media post recently showing the man misbehaving with her at Lal Chowk, Anantnag.

Taking cognisance of the post, police lodged an FIR and arrested the accused within 48 hours.

Further investigation has been taken up, the spokesperson said.
