Srinagar: Authorities have suspended traffic on hilly roads in north Kashmir Kupwara district following fresh snowfall in the area.

Officials said that while Kupwara-Tanghdar road has been closed for two days, the Kupwara-Machil and Kupwara-Keran roads have been shut for traffic for unspecified time.

However, the Srinagar-Jammu highway is still through for traffic.

Pertinently, it is snowing across Kashmir since Friday afternoon including the capital city Srinagar.
