MeT predicts rains, snow during next 24 hours

Srinagar: The Kashmir meteorological department on Tuesday predicted light rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir even as the cold wave continued in Kashmir Valley.

The officials said that there was a likelihood of light rain and snowfall during the next 24 hours in Jammu and Kashmir.

Kashmir’s capital city Srinagar recorded minus 4.2 degree Celsius, Pahalgam minus 4.9 degree Celsius and Gulmarg minus 4.2 degree Celsius as the minimum temperature on Tuesday.

Leh recorded minus 14.6 degree Celsius and it was minus 17.3 degree Celsius in Kargil.
