“Maqsood-ul-Zaman, Senior Superintendent of Police Security Kashmir is hereby attached with Security Headquarters with immediate effect,” the order reads.

“Sajad Hussain, SSP Commandant JKAP-3rd Bn in addition to his own duties shall look after the work of SSP Security Kashmir till further orders,” said the order.

On Sunday, militants decamped with four rifles from the official residence of congress ex legislator, Muzzafar Parray.

Following the incident, four policemen, deployed at the residence of Parray, were dismissed from service.
