Srinagar: Police said a  person who was involved in a molestation case was arrested  within hours of committing the crime.

The police said the girl, about 21 years old, reported that she was waiting for a lift near Habak.

In the meanwhile a man driving Ford car stopped and offered her lift.When she boarded the car the driver turned the car towards fore-shore and despite repeated pleas of the girl he did not stop and instead drove towards shalimar and in some lane stopped and molested her.

On this information FIR No 126/2018 was registered and investigation U/S 366,354 RPC was started.

The accused Ehsan Ali S/O Gh Mohammad Dar R/o Salman Farsi colony Shalimar along with his car Regd No JK01P/0057 was arrested within hours.
