Pulwama bloodbath: Mobile internet barred in Srinagar, south Kashmir

Srinagar: Authorities on Saturday suspended mobile internet services in Kashmir’s capital city Srinagar and southern Kashmir districts including Anantnag, Pulwama, Shopian and Kulgam.

The suspension comes after seven civilians were killed by government forces in Pulwama district following a gunfight in Kharpora village of Pulwama.

Three militants were also killed by government forces in a gunfight that lasted for a brief time. An army soldier was also killed in the encounter.
