Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference (M) on Monday paid tributes to the three armed youth including two teenagers – Mudassir Parray, 14, Saqib Bilal 17, both residents of Hajin, Bandipora and Ali Bhai, who were killed by government forces at Mujgund on Srinagar outskirts.

In a statement, a spokesperson on Hurriyat (M) stated that as a consequence of “ultimate repression” by state even minor boys are resorting to arms and sacrificing their lives for the cause of right to self-determination and that it is the collective responsibility of the people and the leadership to protect these sacrifices.

“The youth are offering their lives for a great and sacred cause and these sacrifices are priceless assets of the ongoing movement while as it’s high time people must forge unity and remain steadfast to achieve the final goal.” The spokesman expressed a serious concern over blowing up half of a dozen residential houses by using artillery that otherwise is used in wars.
The spokesman condemned the “brute force” used on protesters at Mujgund leaving several youth injured.
