Intense cold wave grips Kashmir valley

Srinagar: Cold wave is gripping the Kashmir valley including Ladakh region with temperatures dropping several notches below the freezing point.

“The night temperatures are likely to drop further in the coming three to four days as the weather is likely to remain dry during this period,” MeT official said.

Kashmir’s capital city Srinagar recorded a minimum temperature of minus 3 Degrees Celsius, while Pahalgam recorded minus 5.1 and Gulmarg minus 4.0.

Leh town recorded minus 11.4 while Kargil recorded minus 10.9 in the Ladakh region.
