Human rights week: Police detain Kashmir Economic Alliance chairperson

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir police has detained Kashmir Economic Alliance chairperson Muhammad Yasin Khan from his office in Srinagar on Wednesday.
Khan, who also heads the Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation was whisked away to Kothi Bagh  Police Station soon after he reached his office, a spokesperson of KEA said in a statement.
Joint Resistance Leadership had called for peaceful protests against human rights violations in Kashmir.
