Srinagar: 2880 registered voters on Saturday cast their votes in Sumbal block of northern Kashmir’s Bandipora district. The polling in the third phase of nine-phased panchayat began today morning. Sumbal block has 6942 registered voters. Officials said that the total poll percentage at 12 noon stood at 41.48%.
Srinagar: 17.91 percent people turned out to exercise their franchise in the third phase of ongoing nine-phased Panchayat elections in northern Kashmir’s Baramulla on Saturday. The voting began at 6 am in the morning and will conclude at 2 in the afternoon. Authorities have made elaborate security arrangements to prevent any untoward incident.
