Srinagar: A 21-year-old youth was crushed to death by train in Furrah area of Qazigund in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday afternoon.

Reports said that incident took place today afternoon at Furrah area of Qazigund when a fast-moving train was run over by train No 74628 in between Budgam-Banihal hit a 21-year-old youth resulting in on spot death.

The deceased was identified as Yasir Ahmad Ganie Son of Aashiq Hussain Ganie, a resident of Furrah Shamsipora.

Police has registered a case in this regard and initiated further investigation.
